The Trouble With Spells: Of Witches and Warlocks Book 1

Portia Mullins had always lived the life of a normal teenager, up until her sixteenth birthday. She is then informed by her grandma that she is actually a witch who is a descendant of a long line of witches and warlocks. After overcoming her disbelief she finds that being a member of the coven comes with one great perk in the form of the school's handsome bad boy, Vance Mangum. Vance and Portia have an immediate connection as a budding romance begins, only to be threatened by turbulent skies on the horizon as Vance's checkered past rears its ugly head to haunt them. Portia is forced to use her untried powers in defense of everything she loves in a desperate attempt to hold on to the one thing that really matters in her life.

My Review

When I read the title of this book I didn't expect the romance and the magnetic attraction between  Vance and Portia. I could not put the book down, When money went into the bank I bought the whole series for my kindle I wanted to know more I wanted to know what would happen between them and what powers did portia posses. It's a must read and I love that the author left some things to the imagination and didnt say all the detail when it came to  Vance and Portia's intimate relationship and left you feeling her deseiers to your imagination. This book has everything from non stop action, good and evil, danger and suspence and the connections with the charicters are strong.

The Demon Kiss: Of Witches and Warlocks Book 2

Can someone Else's past come back to bite you? After being drained of nearly all the blood in her body, novice witch Portia's Mullins wakes up to find that her warlock boyfriend, Vance Mangum, has fled in search of his demon father. Determined to keep him from facing evil alone Portia follows after him, unknowingly setting herself on the path of a new adventure that will take her, Vance and their coven over international borders, into a foreign place where they will discover that the black magic that awaits them is far worse than they ever imagined. Portia finds herself tangled up in a web of lies and deceit in another quest for demonic power in excitingly romantic second paranormal novel in the witches and warlocks series, The Demon Kiss.

My review

When I started to read the second book I was still exhilarated by the 1st book, Then to find that Portia Has powers beyond what her coven had originally thought keeps me wanting to know more. The determination of her love and protection towards Vance Was as strong as a love and protection for any parent towards her children. No matter how much she got herself into trouble all she wanted to do was be with him no matter what situation she found her self in but unfortunately it would never be that simple for her or anyone as what ever you do always had repercussion on someone else's lives as siblings, parents and people who love you will do anything to help protect you. As this books caries on to show. Even though this book revolved around Portia and Vance lives it always bring in the lives of others but this series is all about their story and I would love to read more about how the rest of her coven think and feel it does touch on a little of this in the books but not as much as I would have liked. This book reads more on thire conection and relationship together and those who love them. If you loved the 1st book you will want to follow this series all the way to the end it always keeps you wanting to know more, it is action packed, romance and friendship written all over it.

Blood of the White Witch Of Witches and Warlocks  Book 3

Portia and Vance are still overcoming their ordeal with Damien Cummings (Vance's father) from The Demon Kiss. Vance decides he wants to dig deeper into the confession that Darcy had made regarding his mother and his father's family. This takes them on a journey to Scotland where they find more than they had bargained for.
As the personal connection between Portia and Vance explodes, the two quickly find themselves in a world of shifting balances. While searching for Vance's missing mother, they realize they are suddenly unsure of who to trust, learning sometimes things are not always as they appear. When Vance's demon characteristics abruptly begin to resurface without warning, the horrible truth comes out, crashing down upon them and shattering some of their most precious dreams. Once the deadly secret is uncovered, Portia and Vance find themselves hastily rushing against the hands of time in and attempt to stop an ancient ritual. Passion, loyalties, powers, and family ties, will all be tested when dangerous adventures abound in the third installment in the Of Witches and Warlocks series...Blood of the White Witch.

 My Review

This boks contains the passion that the two characters have for each other but they do not have that much time together before they head off on another adventure thinking it was going to be easy and that his mother was in safe hand his grandparents are not as they seem and you do have this feeling straight from the start unknowing to Vance who has fallen in love with the idear of now having a family he can relate to and spend quality time with but poor Portia could also sence that there was something not right and just couldnt see it untill it was too late. There is never an andventure that thses two go on that turns out right for them. I feel so sorry for them they go through hell and back yet to face another brick wall that they have to knock a hole in so that their relationship can survive and bloom but in this book it just another thing to see how far they can go. Vance and Portia are betraid by those who they thought were family but one person, his mother who is now mortal and will still need to be rescued as well as them selves yet again the covern have to get involved and come to save the day. This book by the end had me in tears Yet I wanted to read on to the other book even though this book is mostly about vance, portia comes out hurt again and this time can she come out the other side fighting? You have to finish thi sbook and quickly go to the next as it leaves you with a reeling cliff hanger.

The Dark Rising: Of Witches and Warlocks Book 4

When Portia Mullins discovers the love of her life is still alive her heart soars. But reality sets in immediately causing it to plummet when she realizes he doesn't remember his past life with her. Unwilling to give up, she embarks on a loving quest to restore his life to him. Vance Mangum sees the beautiful girl claiming to be his wife, and while he can't remember her, he can't deny the intense pull he feels between them. Not knowing where else to turn, he agrees to give her the time she's asked for and to assist her in the effort to recover his memories. The two quickly reconnect, but dark surprises are lurking in the wings when Vance discovers a desperate longing for something he feels he can't withstand. Will he be able to resist? Or will evil raise its head in a new form, leaving Portia as the prey of the very man her heart desires? Darkness reigns supreme in this haunting tale of love and desperation, Of Witches and Warlocks, The Dark Rising.

My Review

When I learnt that Vance has awaken from the dead I was in sock just as much as portia was,  as soon as I  read that he lost his memory I didn't think that there was any good in him as coming back from the dean usually means that there is only evil left in them. I couldnt wait to see what potia would do or how far she would go to help him back on the right road to goodness. portia gets stronger not only physically and emotionally but her powers grow beond what she or even the coven could even think it could become, yet she still stand by her husband ( Vance) with only the usual on her mind to love him with all her heart no matter what he has become or dont to her and to contunu to try to protect him even if its from himself. Yet again they go through hell and back together to save their marriage, only to arrive at yet another brick wall that they have to knock down. Portia makes new friends in this book who becomes important to her survival. This book has more action and a game of cat and mouse as potia tryes to same Vance yet again. It also shows just how much the love conection still brings them together and patia will never fight it and always treasure it as she shows in this book. Portia becomes a warroir/witch in this book. I loved everyminit of it Turly girl power. couldn't put this book down and started reading the 5th book straight after.

Possession of Souls (Of Witches and Warlocks Book 5

Fear and desperation leave Portia and Vance clinging to threadbare hope as life is given, and taken away. Manipulated, driven by blood lust and the desire to claim sole possession, the stakes are raised higher than they've ever been before. Evil rises with the intent to dominate, leading them and their coven to the ultimate confrontation-a battle which will force one of them to make a devastating, life-altering decision. Who will survive the final stand?

My Review

Portia goes out of her comfort zone just to save vance and to be closer to him yet to understand what he goes though but  did he betray her was it the evil inside him making convincing her to do things she didn't really want to do, Vance father has his hand into there personal lives and is able to manipulate there relationship just to get what he wasn't but portia with her devotion to vance will go beyond her duty to him to save him and risk her own life unknowing that her family's life is also now in danger as her dad was taken by vance father and patia's dad sacrifices him-self for the coven yet again I was in shock and in tears I could not even think of how she was feeling knowing that her dad was on the brink of turning evil or even dying to protect her. But the coven all come together together with her faithful friends to help protect her and vance. In the end Vance returns all his promises to portia to always keep her safe by performing the demon kiss on her but soes he survive? Portia's dad is able to stop vance's father but in turn losses his life to while portia looses all her powers to Vance who becomes this super warlock who is devoted to right all the wrongs in his life and is still dedicated to Portia even though the lloging link of magic is no longer pulling on their hearts they still are married and become the family they always wanted btu what about there child dose he posses all of vances powers even those he accumulated through  the demon kiss we will never know unless the author writes the 6th book. Loved the series and the sad yet happy ending.

Brice Thomas

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Law, but hankered after the life I remembered as a boy growing up in the North of England on my father's farm. These memories drove me to follow in my fathers footsteps, and I began making a living off the land as a farmer. I have always had a deep seated interest in the art of story telling which led eventually to my first novel "RHAMIN" being released in July 2010. It went straight to number one in the Welsh Books Council's 'Top Ten Bestselling Children's Books List' and won the Welsh Books Council's Publisher's award for "The Bestselling Children's Book from Wales 2012".
My second novel, "LUCY LOCKHART: the awakening" was published in October 2011. RHAMIN II: "Blue Tooth" was released in 2012 in both hard copy and on Kindle and my most recent novel, "THE LAST SPELL" already on Kindle, is to be released in hard copy in 2013.
Rhamin

Survival of his pack drives Rhamin the Black Wolf to raid a farm for food with disastrous consequences. Wolves die and in order to prevent further bloodshed, Rhamin resorts to desperate measures. The relationship that grows between the farmer's family and the pack will not only effect their fate but ultimately that of Rhamin himself.

My Review
I enjoyed this book the physic link between the wolves, animal and boy. The way that a pack works and communicates and the laws that bind them. It was a heart warming story. In some parts the excitement of what was Rhamin going to do to make things right and how the farmer and his family react to Rhamin kept you wanting to know more.
I enjoyed this book and  by the end of the book i wanted to know more and was looking forward to the equal book to be written it was a disappointment knowing that there was no squeal yet. To my suprise i have just found out that Rhamin 2 the blue tooth was relased in 2012 book review to follow once Ive bought it and read it.

 Lucy Lockhart
the awakening.
A coma and emergency surgery change Lucy in an unexpected way. In a story that brings together Lucy Lockhart's suddenly acquired but unusual skills with the dark, paranormal abilities of her new found friend loanne, the result is a journey of exploration and discovery so full of danger, excitement, fear and drama that it will transform the lives of both the girls for ever.

My Review
This book was different form Rhamin, Its about two girls exploring and getting mixed up with the wrong people and putting there lives and parents lives into an arkward situation. but on the other hand manage to save a strangers life. The conection between the two girls ia automatic like they have always known eachother and Lucy's mum's concern for her is great until she goes to stay with the doctor and his daughter.

I enjoyed this book it was sertanly different but it dosent come close to Rhamin.

The Last spell

A fortune hunter, a witch, a mad scientist, a homicidal ship's captain and a megalomaniac. Not much in common except that, in 1854, as each one tries to control their own destiny, they will all permanently alter the lives of the others. Unfortunately each one's future depends on possessing The Seal, and all of their futures depend on one or more of their adversaries dying. The mad scientist, Hansenger has unwittingly unleashed a source of power that will eventually eat up their world and destroy the remaining seven surviving witches.
The Seal, however, unknown to Henri, is linked solely to him. Its five sectors have their own influence on their master, and surprisingly each sector is controlled by a small being called a Marox. The five Marox, Henri and Winifred the witch have no option but to set out to destroy the source of power unleashed by Hansenger or die trying.

My Review
This book is about a man who comes across a magic seal and with in it are small creachers with there own  special abilities, It was fate that brought him and this seal together. Ten fate also brings together the main charicter  and the young girl who is destined to fall in love with him. together they save reality as they know it and with a little help from the seal.

I enjoyed this book the different realities, the conection between the charicters and the conection and the way that the seal brought everyone together let alone the twist in the story where there lives could be at risk right form the beginning its full of action and adventure and really has you using your imagination.  I was disaponted to find out that i could not buy this book from amazon as a paper back only on the kindle.

 Blue Tooth ( Rhamin Trilogy)

When Ben and Margo's cousin turns up at the farm it means trouble. Thirteen year old Elsie does not intend making life easy for the family and certainly has no intention of getting swept up in the whole senseless wolf business. Wolves and people just do not communicate with their minds. But when they become embroiled in Rhamin's life or death fight for survival, it turns out not to be just the wolves' battle. The whole family is propelled into a torrent of perilous events where wolves and children depend on each other for survival. Pursued by one enemy, wolves and children fail to reckon on all the others, and when they are cornered by their pursuers it becomes unclear just who are Rhamin's enemies. Splitting up so that some may survive means that some will ultimately die. In the end it is the enemies of the Rhamin pack that decide.

Blue Tooth is the second novel in the Rhamin Series

My Review.

This book was action packed right for beginning to end I felt for the wolf pack who had men, bear and wolfs coming for them form left right and center and the new addition to the family was a nice touch. Along with these dangers the family who lived at the farm also had men after then unknown to why by the family and was only told towards the last 2-3 chapters of the book. I really liked the relationships that built up between the bear and the wolf pack. All I want to know now is there going to be a Rhamin 3? How does the young cub get on with his new pack how does the new family member get on with her new country life. Do the men come back for the girl does the other wolf pack come back for revenge on Rhamin's pack.

If you enjoyed Rhamin and Brice Thomas other books your going to love this book

J.R. Rain.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I'm an ex-private investigator now writing full-time in the Pacific Northwest, where I live in a small house on a small island with my small dog, Sadie, who has more energy than Robin Williams. I will be publishing a few of my novels over the next few years, so stop by often and check out what's new.
As a kid I was always making stuff: skates, skateboards, skimboards, skis, sleds, clothing, furniture, wood carvings, Easter baskets, comic books, you name it. I was the mother of all nerds. Anyway, I think I was searching for the one thing I wanted to keep on making for the rest of my life. Then one day I discovered Choose Your Own Adventure books. Remember those? You as the reader were asked to make choices for the characters. Choose Your Own Adventures were a lot of fun and I just had to make my own. And so I did, writing three of them, and I've been hooked on writing ever since. (Just think, I could have been hooked on making Easter baskets.)

MOON DANCE

Mother, wife, private investigator...vampire. Six years ago federal agent Samantha Moon was the perfect wife and mother, your typical soccer mom with the minivan and suburban home. Then the unthinkable happens, an attack that changes her life forever. And forever is a very long time for a vampire. Now the world at large thinks Samantha has developed a rare skin disease, a disease which forces her to quit her day job and stay out of the light of the sun. Now working the night shift as a private investigator, Samantha is hired by Kingsley Fulcrum to investigate the murder attempt on his life, a horrific scene captured on TV and seen around the country. But as the case unfolds, Samantha discovers Kingsley isn't exactly what he appears to be; after all, there is a reason why he survived five shots to the head

MY REVIEW.

This book starts off with Samantha moon already a been bitten and knowing what she is. She hides it verry well from everyone including her family, and the athorities. That is untill she meets Kingsley Which is when she finds out that there are not olnly vampires out there, there are more of her kind. so She tries to keep up her aperiences of a normal human daily life while at night she is an amazing detective.

I enjoyed  this part of the book I don't normally like detective books but the twist of samantha being a vampire gives it that excitment edge of the thought of her being found out, and that she starts investigating a atepmted murder of a non human also has you asking q's and not only you samantha dosent find out who shes working for till you get to the middle of the book.
If you enjoy reading detective books and fictional then this book has lots of twists. This book you will want to read on as her story continues in the rest of the series
.

VAMPIRE MOON

Private investigator Samantha Moon finds herself hunting down a powerful crime lord and protecting an innocent woman from her ruthless ex-husband—all while two very different men vie for her heart. And as the stakes grow higher and her cases turn personal, Samantha Moon will do whatever it takes to protect the innocent and bring two cold-blooded killers to justice—her own brand of justice.

MY REVIEW

In this book Samantha life just gets that little bit more complicated. As her client form the first book falls in love with her or does he just want her for who she is a vampire its a little up and down and Samantha herself i don't think she really knows who she loves but does lean of her 1st client for support a lot more than she does her husband. All she cares about in this book is dealing out justice and to protect this innocent woman but seeing as the courts do not know about vampire and supernatural beings she has to be the judge and jury and sentencing judge in this book. but is she doing the right thing by doing this?

I liked that her life also is in a state of change in this book as exciting as the detective part of this book is i enjoy that there are other things going on i think if it was just about her job this book i would have put down by the time i read the 2nd chapter but i love there there are more than just one story line and life out of work is conveyed in the book. This book had me wanting to know what happened did she chose her husband or the supernatural being . has anyone found out about her being a vampire and how is she coping with being one
.

 AMERICAN VAMPIRE

Private investigator Samantha Moon receives a heartbreaking phone call from a very unlikely source: a five-year-old girl who's been missing for three months. Now on the hunt, Samantha will use her considerable resources—including her growing supernatural abilities—to locate the missing girl before it's too late. And as she gets closer and closer to the horrible truth, she receives devastating news on the home front. Now with her world turned upside down, Samantha Moon is forced to make the ultimate choice of life and death.

MY REVIEW

In this book Samantha life just gets that little bit more complicated. As her klient form the first book falls in love with her or does he just want her for who she is a vampire its a little up and down and Samantha herself i don't think she really knows who she loves but does lean of her 1st client for support a lot more than she does her husband.  MOON CHILD

Private investigator Samantha Moon is faced with an impossible decision—a decision that no mother should ever have to make. A decision that will change her life, and those she loves, forever. And through it all, Sam finds herself in a lethal game of vampire vs. vampire as a powerful—and desperate—enemy will stop at nothing to claim what he most desires

MY REVIEW

Now getting to grips with her abilities of being a vampire and he friendship with her 1st client she becomes a really good detective. on the other hand her personal life as a wife and mother are on the rocks but she puts up a really good fight to keep those she loves close to her especially  her child.

I enjoyed this book as her personal life gets more out of control as She has had to move out due to her husband finding out about what she really is and all he thinks about it is she goign to bite her child and him, im sure if she was goign to do that she would have done it soon after she was bitten not a year down the line. her husband becames a right pain in the butt in this book and i think makes more worries and truoble for her but thankgoodness she had her work to fall back on and her faithfull friend.

 Book 1 - Promise

After meeting the inhumanly attractive, multi-talented Tristan Knight, however, Alexis retreats behind her façade of normalcy...until she discovers he's not exactly normal either. Then their secrets begin to unravel.

Their union brings hope and promise to her family's secret society, the Angels' army, and to the future of mankind. But it also incites a dangerous pursuit by the enemy - Satan's minions and Tristan's creators. After all, Alexis and Tristan are a match made in Heaven and in Hell.

MY REVIEW

I enjoyed this book a typical teenager falling for a  bad boy and someone that her mum dose not want her any where near but the twist is the family life long secret and what it would mean and cause if they got it together and if they hit it  off, what is the secret that her mum against all odds trying to keep from her daughter? it kept me reading as i wanted to know why her mum was so mysterious and who were the characters that kept attacking her and why. was she just being bullied by people in school or where they of another world?

From the word go this book was mysterious and i could not put it down there was something about Alexis Ames that i wanted to know, would she be safe would she find out about her family secret,  would she fall for this bad boy on the motorbike. This book was set in a typical america school just like you see with the chick flicks. It was down to earth even though it was a fiction book and had fiction characters but characters that you could bond with and want to find out more about them the more you read.

 Book 2 - Purpose

Lost in despair, Alexis teeters on the edge of an abyss, her lifeline of hope fraying into a thin thread. If it snaps, she'll plunge into complete darkness. With the help of her son and her writing, she's been able to hold on. Until now. Erratic impulses, disturbing delusions and her own demonic blood threaten her sanity. When she's forced to choose between hanging onto hope or letting go to serve her Amadis purposes, she faces a decision with inconceivable sacrifices.

Alexis runs to the one place she thinks will provide answers, only to find herself at the center of another battle of good versus evil, not only with the Daemoni, not only within herself...but also against the worst opponent imaginable. But even if she wins, what will she lose?

MY REVIEW

Alexis is a very strong character she held on even though she thought all hope was gone with her son by her side and nothing else to loos she plodded on wards no matter how she felt her son brought out the best in her and you find in life that its our children who are the ones that we wake up each morning for who we fight and strive to make the best of things no matter how hard things get and this is what Alexis did along with her Amadis purposes she shows how strong and determined her character is. Reminds me of me a little getting through things because you have other people to think of and having a goal in life and determined to reach it no matter how hard or how much your hurting.

If you enjoyed the promise you will love the rest of the book in the  Soul Savers Series Keeps you wanting more and hanging on to what happens to Alexis and her son. Just like watching a movie you want to make sure that they will be victorious and safe but is she love these books!

 Book 3 - Devotion

With powerful abilities gained from the Ang'dora, Alexis thinks she's ready for the next challenge-- protecting her son from what appears to be the inevitable. But she has so much to learn about her powers, her new world and the people in it. Nothing is what it seems to be on the surface, including the Amadis.

Power-hungry politicians comprise the council and make impossible demands. A traitor lurks among them all, inciting trouble that could destroy the Amadis and, ultimately, humanity. The Daemoni wreak havoc in the human world, with the ultimatum that they'll continue attacking innocents until Alexis and her family are expelled from the Amadis' protection. Their own society begins to shut them out. But that's not all.

MY REVIEW

This book was action packed from deception to hidden secrets and powers to family history the book refers to the Genesis a soul savers Novella and if you haven't read it that it gets a little clouded with what has gone on in the past with who is who in her family. Alexis dose not know who to trust and sometimes in life they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer well i don't think that Alexis had much choice  in this book seeing as all hell broke loose in her collective family let alone what was going on outside the Amadis. Sometimes life becomes like this not really knowing who are real friends are and sometimes its best just to ride it out until that decision is made for you or you are forced to decide as Alexis found out which of those she was going to do.

I loved finding out what was happening to Alexis and her son and i knew from previous books that she had to wait until the Ang'dora to have her powers and i wanted to know what powers she possessed. if you love action and adventure this book has it along with a brill story line

Book 4 -  Bonus - Genesis: A Soul Savers Novella

While the land of Ancient Greece is plagued with mortals' wars, twins Cassandra and Jordan have lived more than a lifetime as outcasts. When their dying father divulges a secret that's been buried in his soul, his children come to opposite conclusions, launching them down two very different paths.

Jordan descends down a road of darkness and discovers the Daemoni, servants to Satan. His passion to gain their inhuman abilities, especially that of immortality, nearly consumes him, but when he thinks he's achieved his ultimate goal, he yearns for his sister to share in his power.

Cassandra, however, follows the path of healing and light. She cares for the wounded and dying on the battlefields, while praying for the end to such atrocities. But her brother is determined to bring her into the war of all ages - the one for human souls.

MY REVIEW

This book was obviously set in the past, I wish that I had read this book before the 1st in the soul savers series as this is the ground and history of the Amadis where it all started. This book is just as good as all the other books but dates back to all the wars. you can see now from this book how the Daemoni started and there history with the Amadis.

I loved this book and in parts are sad but if not for the sad scenes there would not be a Amadis.

I would recommend that you read this book before the others but thats my opinion some like reading it when it is mentioned in Devotion. If you love this book or have read other soul saver books you going to love this one!

Book 5 - Power

As the Amadis prepare for war, Alexis returns to Florida with orders to relax, regenerate and replenish her depleted power. But her task list quickly grows--establish a new safe house, learn the art of conversion, find her AWOL protector, help a desperate fan, and protect her son. Oh, and figure out what's going on with her husband, whose peculiar behavior just might get them killed.

But most important of all, her primary mission: recover her stolen pendant.

The stone in the pendant not only promises hope for the Amadis future, but its unknown qualities make it a possible weapon in the wrong hands. With guidance and power from an improbable source and an unlikely ally by her side, Alexis sets out to retrieve the stone before the enemy discovers its potential for mass destruction. But when she finds herself in the Daemoni's lair fighting for her life, all hope seems lost. Will she discover the true power she holds in time? And is it enough to save herself, her family and the Amadis?

MY REVIEW

I enjoyed this book but found Alexis consumed with the thought and determination to get the pendant back in her possession. A lot depends on this pendant or did it, has she always had the power within her did she really need the pendant untill you get halfway through his book then it tells you why this pendant is so important and it keeps you reading to find out the significance of the pendant. Alexis struggles in this book but like any mother pulls through for her son as much as she us able with everything else that goes on. She is such a strong charicter the sheer determination to do the right thing by her child, husband and the Amadis.

This book will keep you wanting more and on the edge of your seat. This is a must read if you have read the past soul saver books.

Book 6 - wrath

Will a mother’s wrath make her cross the line? I didn’t want to cry. For once in my life, tears evaded me. Perhaps because I refused to grieve this loss, because it wasn’t a loss in my eyes, in my heart. It was a call for war, yes. But not a loss. I wouldn’t allow it. Besides, I was too mad to cry, even in my exhaustion, and anger would get me much further. As I curled my body around Sasha’s, though, I realized the anger within me had changed. I no longer felt irrational and blinding fury that dulled all other emotions. But that was okay. I really didn’t want to be Psycho Alexis. This, what I now felt in every cell of my body down to the core, was better. My anger had condensed and solidified into a cold, hard stone settling within me. Something I could control and hold onto for the long term to keep me going and focused on the goal. Wrath. That’s what I felt. And there was nothing worse than the wrath of a pissed-off mother.

My Review

Yet again I loved the book ( cant wait until the next one comes out hopefully another one is coming soon) I loved the close net of the family no matter what happened even though their task seemed different they all wanted the same thing deep down and what parent dose / will not fight for their children. I loved the connection that Alexis had with her son especially when it was needed the most and the twist that her protector didn't abandon them it turned out that his task was to protect Alexis son after all Im so glad that he was on her side all this time I really liked his character and was really sad to find out that he might have switched sides. This book made me cry as with all the other books poor Alexis loosing her grandmother and her mum in the same day / battle. I couldn't even begin to imagine how that felt i would be beside my self if anything happened to my mum. A brill book Would recommend the series to everyone.

MY REVIEW

The characters in this book were as confused as the reader. you could understand what was going on in there lives but didn't or couldn't understand why things were happening to them and as it shows from past characters the same was happening to them but why and how were the present characters and past characters related or linked some how. This book kept you gessing right until the last few chapters, where it revels how these characters are connected with past characters. This book kept me guessing. I love the connection that pulled the charicters together and the bond they had even if they didn't know why they felt that way about each other the way they did. I cant really say too much more about why I like this book as it will give the plot away.

If you liked the soul saver books you will like this one and get you asking questions to the author like when is book 2 coming out.
